Priessnitz Knee and Elbow Wrap is recommended as an aid for rheumatic problems, phlebitis, to reduce temperature, for children’s growth pains, especially in the knee area, for pain caused by excessive muscular strain or for healing post-traumatic conditions such as fractures. It works on the basis of warm, wet and dry forms. The pack can be enhanced with herbal decoctions.

The knee, calf and elbow wrap will effectively help you and your children to relieve pain or inflammation. The wrap can be used as a warm wrap to warm up the body or as a cold wrap to help sore muscles or joints recover faster. The wrap is made from a soft fabric so it is comfortable to wear.

Conditions for which the wrap can be used:
For rheumatic conditions.
For inflammation of the veins.
Inflammation of wounds.
Growing pains in children, especially in the knee area.
Pain caused by excessive muscle tension.
Or in the healing of post-traumatic conditions such as fractures.
The wrap can also be used to treat inflammation in joints, tendons and muscle attachments.
The wrap can be enhanced with other healing ingredients to make it more effective (e.g. a compress or skin rubbed with herbal oil, gel or the compress can be soaked in an herbal bath).

Instructions

Soak the removable inner part (lining) of the wrap in cold water, 8-16°C/46-60°F (it is important to choose the water temperature according to the patient's condition - for children we choose less cold water, around 22°C/71°F). Place the wrung out lining in the wrap. Wrap the wrap around the affected area and secure with Velcro.
Care instructions for the Priessnitz Wrap: The wrap can be washed normally in a washing machine at 40°C/104°F and left to dry naturally (do not stretch when drying). We only use high quality materials, so it should last 3-5 years depending on how you use the wrap. Warning: The natural wrap should not be used on infected areas, poorly healing wounds or skin conditions (eczema etc.)
COMPOSITION OF MAMAVIS WRAPS: - Outer layer: 100% knitted cotton 220 gm. - 50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% polyurethane. - 100% cotton lining. - Closure: Velcro. - The wraps have a removable 100% cotton lining.

How to use the product

Wet/cold version
